Chocolate Fashion Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

I love Chocolate Fashion in Coral Gables and was by South Miami and wanted to give it a try. Honestly the service was SO BAD it was scary. First off, we were thrown the menus. Asked what kind of quiche they had the waitress responded with "well, what do you want" Asked for 2 ham and cheese croissants and she said "they didn't have" Suddenly, she yelled to the kitchen and 2 croissants come out and just sit on the counter and she tells us they don't have ham and cheese. Finally, ordered the smoked salmon platter with a "bagel on weekend" and when we asked what kind of bagel she said "it's not a bagel, that is a mistake on the menu" COULD NOT WAIT TO GET OUT...even took my cappuccino to go to leave faster. Meanwhile the 2 croissants were still sitting on the counter and the guys behind the counter were asking me, as the customer. I had to explain why there were there (which I wasn't even clear on) They then put them back into the display case. Let's just say, I'll never be back to that location. I thought I was on candid camera and the experience was a joke....Unfortunately, it wasn't.

So I went in not really sure what this place was about. Was it a dessert place, a bakery, a cafe...well...its all that and more. The one thing that sucks is that most of the good bakery items are gone early in the morning. I tried the hot chocolate and it was probably the best in Miami. Everything looked amazing and I want to go back asap.

On our second visit to this location of Chocolate Fashion on Sunday, 2/9/14, we were very disappointed. We parked at the municipal covered parking lot and walked to the restaurant. Just like the Gables location, this location is very small and all the pastries are very, very expensive. We arrived and were greeted by no one, all the tables were taken. We finally got the attention of one harried waitress and asked where to put our name on the waiting list for a vacant table. She said there was no list, that we'd just have to wait and as tables became free we could take one. Keep in mind we were not the only ones waiting for a table. What did she expect us to do? Fight with others over a table? How could we possibly determine who got there first and who had been waiting the longest? Well run restaurants put a waiting list to work and call waiting patrons based on what's on the list. We then walked over to the register area where there were 2-3 young clerks waiting on bakery customers. We asked how we were to secure a table and, got the same reply. Disgusted, we walked out the back and ended up at Lario's where we were promptly able to have a pleasant breakfast, less expensive than those offered at Chocolate Fashion. To the people at this Chocolate Fashion: Get with it and start running your restaurant properly, institute a waiting list on busy days so you can properly serve those customers who are willing to wait for a table. In our case, we drove a good distance to S. Miami and spent some hard-earned money on parking. And this is why such a large % of restaurants fail!

Chocolate Fashion is serving up scrumptious cuisine in an area in need of some quality options! This cozy little bistro offers up a combination of traditional French-fare along with some Americanized favorites including, but not limited to, pancakes, French toast, croissants, eggs benedict, and quiches. The interior has a dangerously tantalizing assortment of pastries, along with Parisian style macarons, for those times when you want to treat yourself, or when you're feeling thoughtful and want to surprise your significant other (also not a bad idea if you're in the doghouse and need to get back in their good graces). So far I've only been for breakfast, but service is always on point. The homey bistro is the perfect place to spend a morning flipping through the paper while enjoying one of their reasonably priced and satisfying selections. The french toast is a thick a fluffy brioche that melts in your mouth. For an additional $1 each you can also choose to add whipped cream or fresh berries. Furthermore, the chocolate banana pancake (singular since you get one plate-size portion) is light and airy, with just enough sweetness on its own that it's possible to forgo the addition of syrup. Perhaps this is part of the appeal as I've been told they no longer offer real syrup and the man-made variety is often redolent of artificiality. Bring back the pure maple please! If you decide to go this route, the bananas are sliced and baked into the pancake along with some semi-sweet chocolate chips, and then the entire thing is drizzled with a chocolate sauce and sprinkled with powdered sugar. Utterly delectable, and they offer a blueberry variety as well. When in the mood for savory, their quiche Lorraine is divine, a symphony of egg-custard with teensy bits of ham and lots of gooey cheesy bursting in every bite. They offer not only standard omelettes, but also Spanish-style, and on the weekend you can choose between multiple types of eggs benedict (crab, salmon, etc.). In addition, the orange juice is both freshly squeezed and refreshing, while the coffee is a well-made start to the day (in case you're wondering they use LavAzza coffee). Unfortunately I haven't had the pleasure of checking out their lunches, but if they're as good as the breakfast I'm sure they'll be delicious too! With the recent surge in gourmet brunches being offered in Miami, it's nice to know that there is still a place for simple dishes that are well-executed. As much as I love an over-the-top praline bacon stuffed french toast with Captain Crunch reduction, sometimes it's nice to get a straightforward high caliber meal without the unnecessary frills. Swing by and see for yourself, this is a true neighborhood gem!

Went to this little cafe for lunch. Quite charming and easily accessible from my office. Had the quiche of the day and the asparagus soup. Both were really good. Didn't get the chance to try any desserts but will definitely be doing when I return. Had a cappuccino which was perfect. Super yummy place!

The closest you'll get to Paris in Miami. A waitress in the restaurant told me as I walked in. That's quite the statement if you ask me considering I have been to Paris and the food is very hard to duplicate in it's yummy goodness (didn't quite love the city but that's due to a whole long story that I am not going to get into right now.) Read on to see if it really did live up to those words. I went to eat breakfast there with my friend who was visiting from Cali. She said the breakfast was amazing and she promised me pancakes. Pancakes! And a place called CHOCOLATE fashion? My two loves all wrapped together, I was sold. So we park outside the little place and I almost run inside to get my pancakes. Sorry, no pancakes on week days. You could almost hear my heart drop as I sat down grumbling and imagining giving the place a one star for getting my hopes up. I ordered a mocha latte iced cause I wanted some coffee. Usually I'm a Starbuck everyday, all day kind of girl but when I tasted this delicious concoction I almost started to sing. Yes. It is THAT good. If I could rate the mocha latte by itself I'd give it a ten star, maybe even one hundred stars. The drink was sweet without being annoying about it if you catch my drift. I added a splenda just because I wanted a little more sweet (I'm cuban we take our sugar with coffee not the other way around :) ) but really, it was perfect without the splenda. The rest of my meal was scrumptious. I had something called "something something a cheval" (yes I have a horrible memory) which was basically a ham and cheese sandwich with two eggs on top. Oh my gosh! Heaven! The ham and cheese in the sandwich were yummy and I swear imported from France for all I know. The whole combo was just great. My friend had some french toast. It was good but definitely not the best I've ever had. Finally dessert. I had a chocolate mousse tart. Mm mm mmmmm! Yummy yummy! It was soft and melt in your mouth delicious. The outer covering of dark chocolate just really added that oh my heavenly touch. So did it live you to the Paris away from Paris statement? Presque (almost) but not quite. My food was amazing but my friend was kind of frowning at her french toast. I do think all the chocolatey stuff was amazingly amazing so if you're craving some orgasmic chocolately delight by all means this is the place. But for Paris, I think I know of one other place can top this one ;)

Recently moved to the neighborhood and tried this place for brunch while my mom was in town since I'd heard such great things. It definitely lived up to its hype! Delicious casual French style food with a huge selection of irresistible sweets (which they kindly offer you to sample.) We enjoyed our food and service was great! There was a little mix-up with the pastries we'd ordered to go (they charged us, but did not bag them with our to-go food.) They seemed a little doubtful that they'd made the error, but after bringing back our receipt, they handed over our goods, which were also delicious! Needless to say, we will be back!

Well this is a second review for it's new location. I went for a quick moms day breakfast. Location: awesome!!! Closer to me & easy to find from US1 Space: it's very little but cute & has some tables to eat outside or indoors. Inside it was too hot today, hopefully they fix the ac or buy some fans... The best thing about this place: The food!!! Wonderful capuccinos!! Good florentine egg Benedict Delicious chocolate raspberry tart (mom had for breakfast...the cornerstone of any nutritious breakfast!!! Lol) Orgasmic flourless chocolate cookies... Had them at the coral gables location & just as awesome as I remembered them. "Le sigh"..... Fresh OJ Wonderful brioche to go Staff: very attentive & on point! Overall its almost a five... Defenetely will be back to try lunch!

I love this place as far as food goes! Their eggs florentine are a must! I enjoy their Italian brew! Heaven! As far as the seating goes it's very difficult to find space since is such a tiny place, also try the French toast yum!

  • Rachel P.

So I had to get the french toast everyone raves about, and yes, it was that good. It's a cute cafe, but I would say too loud. The lady in charge of the silverware was banging it around on the counter, the juicer was going non-stop, it was difficult to have a conversation with the couple across the table from us. It was also extremely warm inside. Finally someone opened the door. Others in our party got the crab egg benedict, reg egg benedict with bacon, tomato salad (which was only 4 slices of small tomatoes) and chicken salad. No one seemed to rave over their choices, so not sure If I would rush back.

    (4)
  • Regi P.

I have visited both locations for breakfast. I had eggs benedict on a tomato and they had no problem substituting tomato for ham. Their breads (the whole grain) was so fresh and tasty. My only issue is that we ordered a side of potatoes, which were not delivered with out meal. When we finished our breakfast we asked that they remove the potatoes because they were never delivered and they said they take longer and would be out shortly. By then we didn't want them, but they said too late and brought them out and charged us. This was the reason for 3 stars. I would have made a bigger deal about it, but i didn't feel like being in a bad mood over stupid potatoes.

I went there on Saturday to escape the rain...and what a great idea that was. This place is owned by the same folks in the Gables who have received great reviews for their Saturday morning breakfast items. At the reccomendation of the nice girl who helped me I chose the French toast. It was absolutly delicious! The atmosphere is very European and it is clear that the owners carefully chose the decor and offerings and it is great. I love that it is only walking distance from where I live and I look forward to going back many times more.

I had always wanted to try the Chocolate Fashion in the Gables, but just never got around to it. Now that Chocolate Fashion opened in South Miami, I made sure to drop in for a bite on my lunch break. Upon entering, the display of delicious dessert treats like truffles, tarts etc. literally jump out at you. They look absolutely irresistible!! I sat down at a table and placed my order for the special of the day, a turkey club on multigrain bread. The sandwich was phenomenal!!!! I'm talking 1909 delicious... The sandwich comes with fresh delicious turkey, avocado, lettuce and tomato along with a side of salad. The salad was SO GOOD, the dressing has a kick it's a dijon honey mustard I believe. All around, a great find. For dessert I ordered a mini key lime pie tart. A-MAZ-ING!!! Literally left me wanting at least five more mini tarts!!!!!!!!!! Definitely check this place out. Great stuff and super cute. Good service too, the staff was friendly and attentive.

I ordered an Opera cake from here for my Mom's birthday...it was divine!!!! All their cakes our out of this world. A true French bakery. Would give 6 stars if I could.

I love Chocolate Fashion but this location is the stepchild of the main location in Coral Gables. Let me explain. This location has to bring stuff over from the CG location since they don't have a kitchen in this one. This means they have less items on hand and some things they don't make at this one. I guess I am spoiled by having everything at the CG location and honestly since they are so close I'd rather go to the main one! Still a great place to pickup up delicious desserts.

I recently moved near Sunset and I have been making the rounds trying new places. This has been on my radar for a while and after reading all the great reviews about Chocolate Fashion I just had to try it. Its a tiny place with not a lot of tables inside, but they have plenty of outside seating. I was a little dissapointed at the service. I was told I could sit where ever I wanted (meaning the only empty table). But it took about 15 minutes for anyone to come take my order, a cappuccino and a crab cake benidict. My meal came out first and I was nearly half done before my drink even arrived. Service aside all I can say is "OMG!!!" It was delicious! The eggs were done just right and not over cooked as most places tend to do to poached eggs. Just the right amount of flavor, and perfect portions. Throughout the entire meal I was salivating at the desert case so, of course, I had to try a pastry... or two... or three... Everything was amazing! Melt in your mouth amazing. I just found my new Sunday brunch spot!

Love this place. I am a regular here on the weekends. I love coming here for breakfast. I've had quiche, omelets, and the torta milanese--all great options. My favorite is the blueberry pancake. Excellent coffee, too. The selection of pastries is amazing and they all look so beautiful. Lunch is also great here. My favorite sandwiches are the prosciutto and mozzarella as well as the grilled veggie sandwich with feta on foccaccia.

The perfect place to get your chocolate fix! Two weeks ago I got myself some mini birthday cakes - chocolate cake, chocolate mousse and a neapolitan puff. And a quiche with spinach! Perfect amount to enjoy you day drinking hot tea or iced cold tea! Very accommodating employees, ask them question about the pastries they know about each one of it.

My boyfriend has been telling me about this place for sometime now so I finally decided to let him take me there for brunch. It is right next door to Sunset Place and seems to be a cozy little spot. I saw on Yelp that everyone was raving about the french toast so naturally I had to try it. It was very good. Unfortunately the service is where this place is lacking. Our waitress was nice but seemed to be pretty spaced out for the duration of our meal. I ordered some fresh squeezed orange juice but I guess she forgot about it because I had to remind her and when I received it it was no longer cold. At the end of the meal I was craving something sweet so I ordered 2 of the miniature fruit tarts one for me and one for my boyfriend. She came back with only one and then turned away, when I asked her what about the other one she told me "ohh we only had one left" OK, that's fine but don't you think you should at least tell me instead of just turning away? Anyways I ordered the raspberry tart instead. Both were very good. I will probably return they just need to improve on the quality of the service.

For breakfadt, we normally go to the one in the gables, great expirience in both. Here in south miami no bread is brought to the table, our coffee did not come with the litle cookie. Service is great. Food is great in both I just wish the portions of eggs were bigger, specially because of the prices. Here in south miami if you ask for bread they will bring it out.

I have come here for brunch time. Everything we have ordered has been good. The napoleon we tried once was delicious. The place is a little smaller and simpler than I first anticipated but it is not that bad. The staff is friendly and attentive. Good spot. My favorite is the poached eggs with salmon and asparagus.

I've been coming to Chocolate Fashion for some time. I like their French toast, ham and cheese eggs a cheval, and eggs florentine. All great breakfast options! They have the eggs Benedict and florentine on Saturday and Sunday brunch. Can't go wrong with this French spot.

Met a old friend here while visiting Miami... We were able to grb a table in hype back, which was quieter! Server was a bit slow, but then it was nearing lunch time and we lingered for two hours( tipped well). We shared the smoked salmon and bagel. It was so good, we had to order another... Great visit.

This one is tricky. The service is STELLAR, no less than a 5. But the food IMO is just OK. I ordered the Prosciutto and Fresh Mozzarella sandwich, Chicken Salad sandwich, Raspberry Tart, and 2 coffees. Obviously not all for me... I walked inside to check out their desserts displayed inside the cafe and both servers were nice enough to assist me, as well as give me a sample. So before I've even received beverages I've had 3 different associates service me. That's def a first in South Miami... The sandwiches were recommended by our waitress and were extremely tasty and by far the best thing we ordered. The side salad it comes with is pretty bland. I recommend changing up the dressing. Most restaurants that serve just a mixed green have a very sweet dressing to accompany. This could greatly improve the meal. Everyone is extremely pleasant and they wait on you hand and foot. One of the servers was nice enough to bring out a plate of dessert samples for us after all was said and done. Again great customer service...Those gestures are what keep me coming back for more. Only other tip would be for the desserts. While they were good, they tasted like refrigerator. Maybe a box of baking soda could fix that? It definitely distracts from the flavor. As for parking its not even a hassle, there's a garage literally right around the corner for $1.50 an hour. If you're in the area like I was, it's definitely worth a shot. I wouldn't trek it out there otherwise. Living uptown I'm pretty spoiled as far sandwiches and desserts go, but this place definitely has potential.

High Hopes, let down! Small place, all of the places around this area are small old buildings that smell old... it looked packed but the truth was that there were maybe 12 cuatomers in there and looked super packed, no chairs to sit or tables... looked like a little better version of don pan.

WooooW Great French Toast! Chocolate Fashions newest location in South Miami. This cafe is small and very cozy. About 5 tables inside and a few outside. Its decor is rustic and it feels like your in Paris in a Cafe! The inside is well kept and staff is friendly and food comes out Fast! They also have Eggs Benedict but Only on the Weekends. They also do sandwiches and no Hot food or Soups like the other location in Coral Gables. Several counters filled with all sorts of pastries, cakes, chocolates, croissants, and other Delicious items. They also have several types of Breads. The Brioche French Toast is Insanely Gooooood! Light ,Thick , and Fluffy Perfectly cooked. You can get it topped off with whip cream or fresh berries. Latte was good well made. Not to much froth or coffee. The cappuccino looked Good as well.

Great baked goods, but tiny breakfasts. Minuscule portions and expensive. Thank goodness for the flour less chocolate cookie to salvage the 3 star rating. I'd skip this place for breakfast and stop only for pastries in the future.

Never have I been charge for mustard in a restaurant. When I said something to the cashier she looked the other way and ignored me. If they are so desperate for money who knows where else they are being miserly.

So I think I have earned the right to write a review for this place. I have been here with my wife at least a dozen times and we had our baby shower cake done by them. The pastries and deserts are amazing. I don't believe that it's pricy. However I do agree that SOME items on the menu are overpriced. As for the service 9 of the 10 people that work there give excellent service and are on top of everything the table needs - and I know them all by name- So make sure to voice your concern to the manager if you get bad service. The place is a bit small which is kinda nice plus they have two outside seating areas. So to wrap things up this is a great place to have breakfast or stop by for a coffee or something sweet. I truly believe that the prices are reasonable and the service is great. I hope you enjoy it!!

Rude they have their doors open so we parked our car, got down went inside and when we tried to buy a dessert they said they were closed. I explained that it was to take out they still did not sell to us.

We had breakfast here, and we liked it. Service was really good. I had the salmon Benedict's and she had the original Benedict's. Both were carefully prepared, and both were delicious. After that we had a couple of pastries, and those were Fu*#%ing outstanding. So, that wasn't bad at all. HOWEVER, the place is also almost uncomfortably small, portions are NOT generous, and last but not least, they ran out of pancakes at 12pm! So, there you have it.

Really not impressed by their food. The food was good but for the price I can find better food in other places. I went for lunch, but I hear the breakfast is better. The lunch like I said, it is not impressive.

This is a good alternative to Starbucks when you want to meet for coffee. They serve lavazza and the staff is very nice. Their tarts are delicious! I believe there is parking in the back and there are tables outside near the parking as well as on sunset as well.

I LOVE this place. Unfortunately (or maybe thankfully) it is a little far from home for me... Or I would go here every day and spend so much money in croissants and pastries. They have the best croissants in Miami, or at least the best I've tried. Service is usually good but it depends on how packed it is. I usually go around 4-5pm and they still have a good variety by then. If you are ever around, try it. I'm sure you'll find something you'll like, or maybe love.

If I could put NO stars I would. This by far was the worst brunch I've had, and not only was the brunch bad the waiter was bad. My best friend recommend l this place for brunch, so I decided to come. I am Assuming we got such terrible service and breakfast because they close at 3 and we got in at 2:15ish, that still does not make up for how bad it was. I got the eggs Benedict, and let me say how terrible it was - it was OVERCOOKED i could barley cut the English muffin and my poached eggs were so over cooked I could actually take the egg out. The eggs Benedict came with a side of a tomato.... Yeah... My boyfriend ordered a omelette and added mushrooms, spinach, and Cheese - as always we thought this was included as everywhere we go Sunday's its included well that was NOT the case, we paid $25 for just an omelette that had no taste what's so ever. They were cleaning up and getting ready to close the restaurant which you could very well hear all the employees yelling and cleaning up, and letting us know that they wanted us out - a couple sat outside as well and the waiter that took care of us told them that they are no longer serving breakfast and you could tell that they wanted to eat there and came for that reason, however the waiter had NO problem telling them to leave - as you can tell he wanted to leave. This place was just bad all around, I recommend going else where before here and I am an all around breakfast gal so take my advice and go. I am so disappointed and upset how people don't care about other people paying to eat somewhere.

This place have been on my bookmarks for a while and the other day, after having lunch and while waiting for my chiropractic appointment, I decided to stop by for coffee. Of course when I say coffee, I don't mean JUST coffee. The place is in Sunset Dr, past US1 in an area saturated by over-hyped restaurants. Came in an immediately was greeted by, well, everyone. A gentleman, who seemed to be in charge because everyone went to him for questions, stood by me and pretty much explained everything about the place and the food and after that told me to take time with my selection. I went for the Spinach Risolle one of the suggestions from the gentleman that helped me, a caramel eclair, a chocolate croissant and a cappuccino. Keep in mind this was after my having a very fulfilling lunch at Lokal. I take a sip of my perfectly crafted cappuccino as I'm preparing to dig into the Spinach Rissole. This breakfast delight, that could be eaten at any point of the day is nothing more than spinach, ham, cheese and a pouched egg all wrapped into a delicious pastry, baked to perfection. The tenderness of the egg, the spinach, the crunchiness of the pastry, the ham, all made a perfect blend. The eclair was delicious and I must point out that the cappuccino was very well done. Probably on of the best cappuccinos I've had. The chocolate croissant was very good but Atelier's croissants still #1. Mental note, I have to comeback for breakfast.

Went there for a quick byte for breakfast. Got the fried eggs, with toast and bacon. It was pretty decent for about $6.25. The bread is what really made it great. They served it with flatten toasted baguettes (cuban tostada style), which was delicious! I'm a bread freak so that was a nice touch and the difference between Chocolate Fashion and other places. My BF got the Blueberry pancake (emphasis on the singular pancake part). It is only one, singular, individual pancake. If you are hungry and used to getting stacks, this is not for you. The price tag that came attached wasn't justified. I believe it cost about $10 for one single pancake. Although delicious in its right, not worth the price! The cafe con leche was excellent, no complaints there. The pastries looked amazing! Didn't try any, but will go back for some. The waitress was nice but the singular pancake took longer than my order of eggs, bacon and toast and I didn't understand why it would take them an extra 10-15 mins. for the single pancake!!!! so that was a negative in my opinion. If I was a typical person which eats at a normal speed and had waited for that one pancake to come out, my food would've been cold. But since I eat slower than a snail I apologetically started my meal while we waited for the amazing, individual, solitary pancake! I was still eating by the time he finished it. That is how slow I eat...! Definitely want to go back and indulge on some of them delicious looking pastries!

The BEST latte I have had in my life!!!! They use LavAzza coffee which to me is one of the best! ( sorry Pilon fans). Their little pastries, tarts, cakes, etc., looked amazing. I decided to only try the fruit tarts though, and those were delicious and SUPER fresh! We had an omelet and an order of the Brioche French toast, which for my taste was a bit eggy and too thick, but nonetheless good. My son had a pancake which was very thin like an over sized crepe and tasty too! Our only complaint is that the place is VERY small. Uncomfortably small. We sat outside by the back of the restaurant to avoid the constant passing of people by our table but encountered birds instead. LOL!

This tiny cafe is truly amazing! I am so glad it is 5 minutes away from my house. You can't go wrong here no matter what you order. I know the fruit tarts here are great but there is no way I can step inside not order some with with ...... CHOCOLATE. Chocolate croissant, chocolate macaroon, chocolate covered strawberry, chocolate mousse... OK I'm sure you get my point. In order to not feel (as) guilty I usually precede my chocolate with a delicious soup or sandwich. oh and you can't forget the cappuccino Check them out !

Chocolate whores unite! I love this place! Small and cozy, but overflowing with savory sweets. It's the kind of naughty that is sinfully cheeky. There is a whole spectrum of choices from traditional chocolates to pastries to ethnic finds. Fashion yourself a seat, for this delectable feast.

I was disappointed that the previous occupant of this space, Morning Call Bakery, closed........but very pleased to see Chocolate Fashion take over. This place is hopelessly addicting.....it's really bad. I seriously need to stop coming here for Saturday morning breakfast, but it's just too good. I am a real pain in the butt when it comes to restaurant reviews, as I have my little particular list of violations for which I will rip a place to shreds on Yelp......but not here, Chocolate Fashion does *everything* right. Just look at the Brioche French Toast.....I can't get enough. I could eat it every single day. Not only is it cheaper than Le Bouchon's, it's better, and they give you more. It's light, fluffy, sweet....and one can drench those slices with the little jar of quality maple syrup provided. While the coffee doesn't make me want to wax poetic, it is still excellent in that simple bakery-coffee kind of way. Not only that, they keep the refills coming if you want. The orange juice, while a little pricey, is real fresh-squeezed OJ made from South Florida oranges, you can easily tell. I always order it. I was told that they are doing blueberry pancakes now, which I do want to try......but I don't know if I can come here and not get the French toast. As a bonus, food gets out lightning-fast here. Almost too fast, if you're sitting down outside reading a thick NY Times. Never mind, just keep the coffee refills coming.....

If I could give it 0 stars I would. My husband, two kids, and mom went to Volksblast today. As we were leaving we decided to grab a table outside and have some drinks. My husband say at the table with my 7 year old and 3 year old while mom and I went inside to order drinks. A waitress who is on The short side came up and asked him to leave the table! He told her we were ordering drinks and treats inside and she asked him to leave the table so she could seat other guests. I'm beside myself at how rude she was! UNREAL! Who would tell a customer with two little kids that were behaving well to leave!? There were other empty tables inside! I WILL NEVER frequent this location again! HORRIBLE service! Too bad because we had been frequenting the Coral Gables location since it opened and visited the owner' stable at the Coral Gables Farmer's market even before that. I guess the owner is not truly overseeing who they hire.

Really decent food. Sandwiches are not your run of the mill choices and the lunch is pretty decent value. I haven't tried any of the deserts yet as I'm always too full after eating. Highly recommend this place for lunch. Also last time I was there my friend and I lingered for a while after we finished and the staff didnt hassle us to leave.

I love this little place. Love the ambiance. Love the food. And LOVE the fact that I can ask them for an extra side of hollandaise sauce for my Eggs Benedict. The quiche is also quite noteworthy and their mocha latte is delicious. This is just a fantastic little gem of a place.

I was a little hesitant about eating here- I was craving a full on hearty breakfast and the cute little sandwiches, teacups, and pastries didnt look appealing. I was wrong (dont judge a book :) I ordered the Eggs Florentine, and it was one of the best breakfasts I've had in a while. I've been craving that dish every since, I can't wait to go back!

I can see what the hype is about. The location is right on Sunset and visible enough... but with a low key sign and a backdoor entrance, this place is a sure South Miami resident's go-to breakfast place. Much better than another breakfast establishment no more than a block away.... But. As far as the food, it was definitely not bad. Prices were reasonable considering the "quality" of food you're getting. I had the eggs benedict and my folks had their 2 egg special, along with a feta quiche. I thought that wouldn't be enough so I also got their touted brioche french toast. The eggs benedict I thought were cooked very well, and the hollandaise sauce wasn't bad but not really memorable. Not to mention pre-packaged Thomas English Muffins. My parents enjoyed their food, but weren't really reactive which in turn let me down as far as my expectation's of this place. And the french toast? Not that great. Syrup was funky. Honestly though it wasn't even that big of a deal and I would normally give a place like this 4 stars, but service was not good. That led to my folks not having as good a time as I would have expected. And that pissed me off. The food being done and it sitting there for about 5 minutes with no heat lamp sucked. The lady seemed to have gone to the back to do something and the tiny pickup station was getting stacked with plates with the rest of my order and everybody else's. And how are they going to sit and serve us, with no napkins. I usually don't use napkins, but I hadn't realized my mom didn't have any and was asking for some. And didn't get one. What the fuck. Of course my folks don't want to come back here.

Eggs Benedict with French toast is the way to go. Small spot that can get crowded quick, but the food is great and the servers are really nice.

This place is off the hook as far as bakeries go. Everything we had was great. The macaroons were amazing. My highlight was this Cinnamon thing (unsure the name but it was the only Cinnamon thing they had) which wasn't a sticky bun, instead it was crunch and it was FANTASTIC. The chocolate croissant was SO DELICIOUS. I'm going to run out of adjectives in a hurry. Very busy. Employees were quite friendly. OMG. Can't wait to get back here.

So cute! A little on the expensive side but delicious food, nice staff. Fresh OJ, delicious coffee and espresso, breakfast sandwiches. Cute location on sunset. I get snacks here before going to the salon

We went on a sunday at 10:30 and sat down at a dirty table. We had to ask our waiter to clean the table, as he walked by several times without doing so. We waited 20 minutes for him to take our order. He brought us waters with specks of who knows what in them. 45 minutes later we finally get our meals, both of which were wrong. We inform another waiter that our order was wrong and apparently he failed to communicate that to our original waiter because he ignored us for 15 more minutes and then offered the check. We ask again for our original orders. 20 minutes later he comes back and tells me they're out of the quiche I ordered and offers a different one, which I accept. 10 minutes later he informs me they're out of that one too. At this point, we got up and walked to Town instead, where we had excellent service and ate within 15 minutes of being seated. I will never go back again and I encourage you to follow suit.

i came here twice in one week. it was so good. it's a quaint little place and the staff there seems to only speak french. its adorable. they have breads, pastries, chocolates. It is delicious. they brought out the little treats we ordered to a table and asked us to pay once we were done enjoying our carbs. i had a pretzel bread sandwich with just butter and it was so good. I had the egg bread...which is not eggy at all. maybe i misunderstood his accent. atleast i thought he said egg bread... i tried a chocolate truffle and a pretzel bread sandwich with butter, ham and turkey. it was also so good. the prices are reasonable and very inexpensive. i have to come at some point for breakfast. the staff says it gets really packed though. def a go to again spot. they have so many chocolates and sweets. if you are ever in the area and have a sweet tooth, you should def stop by and try it.
